A day full of fun whilst celebrating Poole's maritime history and raising money for Poole Hospital Charity and Lewis Manning Hospice.*

The day starts at midday with the Parade of Pirates through the old town and along the quay with prizes for the best fancy dress. Schools, clubs, pubs and all organisations welcome to join in!
Living History demonstrations including cannon firing, Viking, Militia and GI re-enactments.
Tug o war. Teams of six from businesses, clubs and any organisations welcome to test your muscle!

Live bands - Lady Winwoods Maggots, Alibi, The Dolmen, The Bilge Rats, Jezebel, The Dorset Wrecks, The Black Sheep and lots of Sea Shanties
Belly dancers, Morris Dancing, Pirate-Zumba, baton twirlers, Street dancing troops and Samba Panashe
Round the Island Gig Race with gig's from the across the South Coast taking part.
Street entertainment, children's rides, lots of competitions and prizes
Poole Afloat - on and off the water try your hand at various water sports and see the power boats.
Finish the day off and stay for the Pirate Fireworks at 10pm!
