What better way to get rid of that New Years Eve hangover than squeezing yourself into your old wetsuit and plunging yourself into the quay, all in the name of Charity. First held way back in 1973 the Bath Race has turned into one of the highlights of the pirates calendar. In recent years attracting thousands of spectators along the quay. For some winning is very serious business, for others sinking the opposition can be a lot more fun!
The Blue Boar then plays host for the post race prize giving where the party continues well into the night. Good music and pleasant company in a warm friendly atmosphere makes pulling on that wetsuit and braving the chilly waters all the more worth it.
